Wet-Workshop for Flow Cytometry on Human B & T Cell Subset.

A wet-workshop for flow cytometry on human B & T cells will be held on November 3rd4th, 2009 in the beautiful city of Fayoum, Egypt. The purpose of this workshop is to interface experts in flow cytometry with people who have interest in flow cytometry and routinely use it in their research or clinical practice. This workshop will cover the basics of flow cytometry in research and clinical applications. This workshop will give a platform for hands-on training, gaining advance knowledge and discussion of application and difficulties and new ideas. In the workshop you will learn how to phenotype the subsets of: CD4 T cells (naive, memory, activated [early, long], regulatory) CD8 T cells (naive, central memory, effector memory, short-term effector, activated [early, long]) B cells (naive, pre-switch memory, post-switch memory, plasma, transitional, activated [early, long]) Innate cells (granulocytes, macrophages [tissue, circulating], activated).
